4 Using the Address Book

The Address Book panel, which is divided into tabs, provides access to the following:

• Contacts.

• Call history. See page 42.

• Contact availability (presence). See page 43.

• LDAP directory. See page 50.

4.1 Contacts Tab

The Contacts tab displays your contacts and lets you specify multiple contact methods for them, including:

• Softphone address

• Home phone number, business phone number, mobile phone number

• Fax number (this is provided for convenience; Bria Professional does not have any fax capability).

•E-mail

You can identify one of these contacts as the primary contact method.

Contacts are typically organized into groups. Bria Professional includes built-in groups: “Friends”, “Home” and

“Work”. You can add more groups, as desired.
